Social Life

Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club is the welcoming social hub for locals, Northern Neck residents, and visitors to this incredible region we call home. Often, our members find the Club after they choose to relocate or retire here. So, we strive to foster a club culture where members can quickly meet others, build enduring friendships based on camaraderie, and often, shared interests. Our number one priority is members’ satisfaction.

The Club offers a robust social calendar, chock full of themed dinners and parties, holiday gatherings, live music, dances, mah jongg and bridge tournaments, and educational seminars. Members can get out on the 18-hole course, play singles or doubles on the outdoor or indoor tennis courts and pickleball, swim laps for pleasure or fitness, and join the Indian Creek Yacht Club, where owning a boat is not a prerequisite.

Dining

Dining options range from the “just drop-in” Skipjack bar and lounge to casual and more formal dining in 1955 and the Blue Heron Room. The Willow Oaks Terrace offers a seasonal al fresco dining experience under the stars with a fire pit for chilly evenings.

Our culinary team strives to prepare and serve locally-sourced, seasonal dishes that are sure to titillate discerning palates. They use fresh vegetables grown on nearby farms, crabs, oysters, and fish harvested daily from the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay. Traditional favorites such as steaks cooked to perfection, pasta with creamy sauces, juicy burgers, Club and Reuben sandwiches are always presented with a smile by the Club’s wait staff. Be sure to request the beverage menu and choose a libation from the broad selection of craft brews, domestic and international wines, and the Club’s signature cocktails.

Casual Dining

The Skipjack
Hours: Tuesday thru Sunday 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
Dress: Casual

Gather with friends at The Skipjack for drinks, a casual lunch, laughter, and good conversation.
The Skipjack is a favorite destination after a rousing game of golf or tennis. Just “drop-in” — no reservations are required.

Willow Oaks Terrace (Seasonal)
Tuesday thru Sunday : 11:30 a.m.- 9:00 p.m.

The Willow Oaks Terrace offers a seasonal al fresco dining experience under the pergola with a fire pit for chilly evenings. A casual menu is available with favorites such as crisp, cool salads to burgers, sandwiches, a selection of beverages, and ice cream treats.

Fine Dining & Events

Hours: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-8:00 p.m.
Dress: Country Club Casual as a Minimum Dress
Reservations Required

1955 offers a stellar dining experience with delectable chef-inspired entrees, appetizers, salads, and homemade desserts prepared daily. It’s the perfect Club dining venue for an intimate dinner for two or with friends while also enjoying the stunning view of the first hole.

Blue Heron Room
Available for special events and private functions. It will accommodate up to 120 seated or 350 standing guests. Large or small groups are welcomed. Our culinary team is available to prepare and serve scrumptious meals to help make any function a resounding success.

Commodore’s Room
The more intimate Commodore’s Room located inside the clubhouse comfortably accommodates 24 guests, ideal for special occasions or meetings.
